Virtual Watercolour Still Life – Beginner

Join us for a fun and creative Beginner Watercolour Still Life Course! This course is designed to enhance your observational skills, as well as adding to the repertoire of textures and effects you can render with your brush.

You’ll learn how to paint believable glass, metal and wood as well as popular food references found in a traditional still life paintings.

Participants will have an opportunity to choose their own still life references in order to develop their skills.

This course is for anyone interested in developing their basic watercolour skills and building their confidence in order to move towards developing more refined watercolour artwork over time.

In this course we will also cover topics including colour mixing, composition, water colour techniques, painting washes and more.

Course begins: Tuesday, January 19

Four Weeks: Tuesday, January 19, January 26, February 2, February 9

Time: 7pm-8:30pm

Cost: $80+HST (without materials)

Last day to order course material kits in Toronto is January 12 . Last day to ship kits outside of Toronto is January 11.

Materials are provided in the form of a watercolour painting kit.  Kits can be picked up from the studio or  delivered in Toronto, GTA or outside of Ontario for an additional shipping fee.
