Join us for the opening night of SOLE Alternative’s end of year arts gala on May 26 – from 6:30-9pm.  The evening promises to be a showcase of creativity with a diverse range of student art, photography and design work. The opening will also feature a live DJ and refreshments.

SOLE Alternative artists are taking their work out of the classroom and into the Toronto art scene. The arts gala runs from May 26^th-June 2^nd. Visual art, photography, graphic design, sculpture, and jewellery from SOLE students will be featured at Fresh Paint Studio at 1849 Danforth Ave. The pieces span genres, styles, and themes, drawing inspiration from historical art movements, street art, and contemporary youth culture.

The work featured in the show is diverse, and includes painting, sculpture, assemblage, silk screen, photography, and photo manipulation, with fine art inspired by Pop Art, contemporary art movements and digital imaging that brings traditional photography into the new millennium.
