I am Empowered –  Black History Month Self-Portrait Silhouettes Event

Celebrate Black History Month with art and creative expression. Spend the evening with us creating silhouette art that expresses your unique inner self.

Your personalized silhouette will also use creative words to express your personal perception of empowerment.

No experience necessary! We will provide all of the materials you need to get creative. We will develop our creations on multi-media paper using ink, paint, sponges and paint brushes.

Thursday, February 23

6:30pm – 8:00pm

Cost: $35+HST

In this paint night, we will use a variety of materials to create our artwork.

Materials will include:

• Multi-media paper – 11×14  to 9×12 – 2-3 pieces
• Assorted thin and thick markers
• A few coloured markers (optional)
• A pencil
• An eraser
• A ruler
• Transfer paper
• Assorted silhouette printouts (black and white)
