Beginner Mixed Media Collage – Virtual Course – 4 Weeks

Mixed media, sometimes referred to as mixed mediums or mixed materials, defines
a way of working creatively with a broad range of materials, including found papers,
seeds, leaves, acrylics, oil pastels, spray paint, fabrics, etc., and simply means
assembling a variety of materials into one piece.

I this fun and creative course,  students to see everything as a possible ingredient for
their artwork. The technique of collage can, in mixed media, be expanded to include
shells, driftwood, twine, sheet metal, plywood, etc. and is not limited by two-
dimensions; found materials can be re-utilized to give a new meaning to your
